As the exam dates for the first session of JEE Mains 2023 are approaching i.e. 24,25,27,28,29,30 and 31st January 2023, the preparations for the same are in full swing. For the convenience of the students, below is the detailed, subject-wise syllabus that may come handy for preparation.

The syllabus is from the topics taught in Class 11th as well as Class 12th and thus, the students are advised to go through their subject books thoroughly.

For B.Tech/B.E: The subjects from which questions are asked are Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.

For B.Arch: The subjects are Mathematics, General Aptitude and Drawing

For B.Planning: The subjects are Mathematics, General Aptitude and Planning

Part 1: Awareness of person, places, texture & objects related to architecture & building, buildings and materials, analytical reasoning, Visualising three-dimensional objects from two-dimensional drawings, Visualising different sides of three-dimensional objects, mental ability.

 

Part 2: 

  • Drawing & designing of geometrical & abstracts shapes & patterns in pencil, colour texture, elements & building forms, 
  • creating 2D & 3D composition using given shapes & forms, Sketching of scenes and activities from memory of urbanscape (public space, market, festivals, street scenes, monuments, recreational spaces, etc), landscape (riverfronts. Jungle. Gardens, trees. Plants, etc.) and rural life.
  •  Three dimensional – perception: Understanding and appreciation of scale and proportion of objects, building forms and elements, colour texture, harmony, and contrast.
